Eleni Fit has been a staple in my home workout routines. The number of videos she has is astonishing and despite doing so many- I haven’t come close to doing all of them.
I have done a couple reviews of her workouts. The most recent one was her upper body focused- Pilates workout. That particular one is a favorite of mine. For this post, I decided to review another one of her Pilates workouts. Do you think I will give this one a ringing endorsement as well? There are ones I don’t like from her, after all. What do you think? I guess you will just have to stick around to find out!
About Eleni Fit
I have introduced Eleni Fit in the other reviews I have done on her workout vides but I will talk about her again on this one.
She is a fitness YouTuber who started her channel a few years ago. I personally found her back in 2021 when I was just getting back into doing Pilates but she had been around for a while before then.
Eleni has created and still creates a variety of different workouts which include bodyweight cardio, kickboxing, dance cardio, powerwalking, Pilates, Yoga and stretching. She seems quite private- meaning that she doesn’t talk about her life on her YouTube or her Instagram that much. From what I can tell, she is from/lives in German, married and recently had a daughter. Also, fitness creation is her full time career and her husband does it as well.
She is known for no talking during workouts, great music selections, lots of variety in movements in each and her Pilates HIIT workouts in general.

What the Eleni Fit Workout is Like
If the previous part of this post interested you enough- here is a more detailed look at the workout:
- The structure and exercise types- There are a lot of different Pilates and Yoga-type moves- no repeats. Each one is done for 50 seconds with 10 seconds of break in between where there is a clip of Eleni demonstrating the next one. Some are more challenging than the others but they do target the whole body.
- Instructor cueing- Eleni only demonstrates the next movement- she does not speak and describe how to do the movement.
- The pacing- Because each movement is different, the time can feel like it goes by faster.
- Comparison to other Eleni Fit workouts- This one does not involve cardio bursts and jumping like some of her other Pilates ones but it is not any easier.
- Modifications offered- There are no modifications shown for different fitness levels
- Equipment needed- A yoga mat is recommended but you could use a carpeted floor if you don’t have one.
My Person Experience with This Eleni Fit Full Body Pilates Workout
I actually chose to do this one for the first time years ago, shortly after it came out. It was December and the Christmas theme that it has drew me in. The thumbnail also made it look like it would be fun to try.
Going into the workout, I was really excited as usual. At that point, I had been doing Eleni Fit workouts for about a year and I just loved trying new ones. She sparked my love of Pilates after not having done it for years prior. My body responds really well to Pilates movements in terms of how it shapes it (I have a different shape when not incorporating Pilates regularly)- meaning that I get my body looking the way I want it to look. I am definitely not saying there is anything wrong with any other shape as all body types are great in my opinion.
That being said, knowing the nature of Pilates- I was not expecting it to be that challenging. I was thinking that maybe it would be a cutesy little Christmas workout and that the “HIIT” was just for the algorithm (I think most of the time it is). However, I was very pleasantly surprised at the intensity of it. I wasn’t pouring with sweat (I never do with Pilates) but my heart rate went up a bit. There were a couple of ab-heavy moves where I had to take a brief break as they were hard for me.
There were a variety of up-tempo Christmas songs and some of the moves even went with them. The workout ended with a down-tempo song for the cool down pace.
After the workout, I felt really good. Pilates isn’t super intense but I did feel like I got a good workout in.

- Doesn’t take up too much space
Cons-

My Rating
Every workout review is not complete without a rating! Here is my rating for this Eleni Fit workout:
5/5!
Yes, I find it that great (for me that is). It is such a great workout and I am a sucker for Christmas music so that part of it doesn’t disappoint. It is a couple years old now and I have done it so many times since it first came out because it makes me feel that great. This past December I actually did a twice a week leading up to Christmas Day.
I also did it last week!
Do I Recommend It?
I absolutely recommend this for people who like Pilates even in the slightest and know about the moves that are part of the movement sessions. Although it doesn’t provide a big calorie burn and is not a sweat fest- you will feel it if you are doing the moves right (that is the thing about Pilates I don’t think people understand).
Another thing I want mention is that while no equipment is necessarily needed- you should consider a Yoga mat if you think Pilates is something you might want to do at home once in a while. Plus, they are also great for doing home bodyweight cardio workouts, stretching and of course Yoga! This one is a great option but there are many out there to choose from.
In Conclusion
So, it is safe to say that this Eleni Fit Full Body Pilates HIIT Christmas Special workout is a favorite of mine. I have gone back to it so many times and this is what I wanted to review it…I think a lot of people might like it! I told myself at first that it would stay being a workout I would only do around Christmas but it has been something I have done all year round!
