15 Amazing Ambience Videos For Fall 2021

15 Amazing Ambience Videos For Fall 2021

Okay so I am early for a fall edition- shoot me! I was just so eager to get this out so that you could get a head start on enjoying some great ambience!

Here are the 15 ones I picked for this fall!

Why ambience videos?

Because they are awesome, that is why!

They bring a different feel to wherever you are playing them. A backdrop of sorts. They can also be used for certain activities. These include relaxing, sleeping (is that considered an activity?), studying, meditating, writing, reading, cleaning, drawing/painting, crafting and probably more.

Some of the ambience videos have either still images or animated images. With the images comes related sounds, music or a combination of those two.

I use ambience videos for reading, writing and relaxing. They really do put me in a good place mentally-even if just for a couple hours. My absolute favorite sounds are restaurant ones (chatter, dishes clinking, drinks pouring etc.).

The 15 amazing ambience videos for fall 2021

  1. I would never go to a real one…

Never in my life have I wanted to go to a circus but this video was just too great to not put on the list. The chatter, sounds of fireworks and crickets are perfectly blended. I even heard what seemed like a group of kids singing a song together and then laughing-typical of what you would hear at a public event. The imagery is also fabulous (I love that Ferris wheel).

2. Apocalypse ambience? Um, what?!

So I know this won’t be everyone’s favorite but if you like horror stuff like me- you may really like it. The crawling rat, the beat up environment, occasional foot steps, airplane announcements (who could even be making them?!), gunshots (who is being shot?!) etc. all make for a terrifying hour. Upon watching it, I kept expecting a zombie or something to pop out. My mind was left to it’s own defenses.

I just love this one and I am actually playing it as I make this post!

3. Yes, I do feel cozy

This video truly is cozy. The sound of the fireplace combined with the cooking sounds give off a warm feeling. It could definitely cause some happy memories of better days to come back (it did for me!). In my opinion, this is great to have on your TV or computer while you read a great book.

4. A beautiful Thanksgiving

Can you say gorgeous? What a lovely scene this is. I can imagine my husband and I just sitting at this table set for two. I also have always loved the sound of glugging drinks and this video has it.

This video is great to put on while reading, eating a meal and/or decorating for the holidays.

5. How unique!

The idea of going on a trip and staying in a cute caravan sounds fun to me. The idea of going into a caravan to see a fortune teller sounds fun too-regardless of how wrong the predictions would be.

This ambience video is cool looking and has that bubbling sound that I (and many others!) love. This is perfect for a Halloween backdrop.

6. I want to eat here

Some places to eat at that aren’t fancy have the best food. At least that has been my experience. This video with it’s old and well-worn pub looks like it would be one of those places.

I love restaurant ambience as I have said before. This one is one of my favorites as the sounds are perfectly blended and the image looks so cozy.

7. Ultra relaxing

This isn’t fall themed but I wanted to include it anyways. It is so beautiful and relaxing. The mermaids singing are a really nice touch.

This one is a great option to have playing in your headphones/ear buds.

8. The porch of dreams

This is one amazing porch and I wish it was mine! The artist did an amazing job on it.

The popping, cracking, crinkling and writing sounds make for a relaxing listen. Try putting this one on while reading a book. You are sure to feel cozy and be able to get into the story more.

9. Oh how I wish I was a paid writer

The fall colors in this are absolutely beautiful. If I was a paid writer (I so wish I was!)- a spot like this would be where I would want to do my writing.

The nature sounds and chimes are very calming- making this great for relaxing, studying, writing and reading!

10. Lovely rain

I love a rainy fall evening. Something about it is so mentally healing for me. The fact that this video combines that along with jazz music and customer sounds-makes it one I have gone back to many times.

This is a very popular ambience video by a popular channel (one of my favorites!) and I really think that most people will like it. Try putting it on your TV, dim the lights in the room (if they can be dimmed) and read a great book/write a story!

11. “Wow,” is all I can say

I only recently found out about this YouTube channel and I am blown away by the quality of ambience videos it has.

This medieval apothecary video is one of the first ones I saw from the channel and I thought it was worth sharing. The imagery and medicine-making sounds are great. Not all apothecary shops in ancient times were evil or scary but this video could still serve as a great Halloween backdrop.

12. I wish I lived here

I just saw this one a couple of hours before I began to type this post and I had to include it! This video is like the fall study one (#9) but with some obvious different touches.

I personally love hard hitting rain sounds and this video definitely has that. Also, the addition of piano music is just icing on the cake. This is a great video for reading and writing to.

13. I need to be at this club

Another masterpiece by the TERAVIBE YouTube channel. The beginning intro, where it goes around the whole scene and shows you everything- is an awesome touch.

This cozy club is definitely something you would see in the 1950s (I looked up pictures!). It would be for rich people of course which makes it all the more fun as an ambient backdrop. Also, the jazz music picked for it is excellent.

I will admit that it does have a bit of a lonely, slightly sad feel to it. However, it is still very calming. This is a great option to put on when you want to just sit with tea/coffee, read a book, write and study.

14. Ahhh, the train of my dreams

I would love to be on a luxury train like this! They probably don’t exist though.

The beautiful changing scenes combined with the sounds (jazz music, clinking glasses and going over train tracks) make for a great video to put on your TV screen. You can sit in front of it and feel like you are actually riding in the train!

15. I guess I like sad things?

This is dark, sad and not really autumn themed but I love it anyways. I am pretty sure if you are into ambience videos at all- you will find it amazing too.

Can you imagine being on the Titanic while it sank? It must have been terrifying. I guess this video might give you a visual taste of what things might have looked like in the rooms as the ship was sinking.

I put this on my TV while doing some writing. It is not very calming so it is better to use when you are doing something that uses brain power.

That’s all folks!

Those were my 15 ambience video picks for fall 2021. I love each of them and I am sure you will like at least one! Stay tuned for my 15 picks for Winter 2021.

13 Amazing Ambience Videos for Right Now- Summer Edition

13 Amazing Ambience Videos for Right Now- Summer Edition

Even though it is not officially summer, I think it is time for another one of these! If you saw my spring version, I hope you enjoyed the ones I picked out for it.

These ones for the summer edition are very enjoyable. Some are summer related and a couple are just plain cool. So without further ado, here are the videos!

Quick reminder on ambience videos

Ambience videos are all about changing the atmosphere and environment. They typically have nice visual elements (animated or static) and related music/sounds.

These have become really popular in the past couple of years. Doing a search on YouTube will yield a countless amount of results. Some are simple and some are more elaborate.

Ambience videos tend to make people feel good. They can take you to better times, put you in different places you won’t get to, relax you, put you to sleep, help you study/read/write/, set the scene for a family game night etc.

If you are into digital art, creating an ambience channel on YouTube is something to consider!

13 amazing ambience videos for right now

  1. A summer night on a cozy terrace

Okay, how cute is this? The blankets, pillow, seat cushions, view and a “yay” light…yes! I wish it was my place.

This video includes typical outdoor and nature sounds. Very gentle and relaxing.

2. Camping by the sea

I don’t know about you but I think camping by a sea would be awesome. The detailed imagery makes me want to do it as soon as possible! Probably won’t happen though.

This ambience video combines the sounds of a fire crackling and ocean waves. This in turn creates a beautiful, blissful and relaxing atmosphere.

3. Beautiful summer patio

This is an example of a very detailed ambience video. The scene is colorful and there are sounds that you would actually hear on summer days.

My favorite thing about this video are the BBQ cooking sounds. It really puts me in a good mood and it might put you in one too!

4. Super cool theme park

How neat is this scene? If you aren’t planning on going to any theme parks this summer but you like the look/sounds of them, this video is a good one to put on your TV! It has nice animations with the actual sounds that you would hear at a real theme park (fireworks, people talking, people screaming etc.).

5. Beautiful seaside café

Ahhhh, bossa nova music! A new love of mine. Combining that with a beautiful seaside café scene makes this whole video even better.

This one is sure to put you in a good mood!

6. Gorgeous meadow

If the idea of sitting in a meadow with just the sounds of nature around you sounds like a great time, this is the video for you. This scene is a real mountain view in Oregon. It would be great to put on during rainy days in the summer.

7. Lord of the Rings ambience

Calling all Lord of the Rings fans! This one is for you. Putting this on will put you in a great mood with its beautiful Shire scene and the music from the movies.

For whatever reason, I find this great to clean to.

8. A lovely hair salon

I never knew I needed this until I found it. If hair salons aren’t open for very many clients or you just don’t feel safe in one yet, this one is for you! It has all of the sounds that will make you feel as though you are actually in a salon.

Another thing great about it is the view from the salon windows. The places across the street look cute and quaint which further adds to the fun ambience.

9. Fun and cozy 4th of July

This video is one of my favorite ones. From the perfect layer of sounds (nature, soft fireworks, crickets and talking) and the cute house- it is truly a fantastic piece of art.

Not many people will have 4th of July’s that look like this so it is great to put on any screen you have and pretend you are there!

10. Chill vibes

I have become a huge fan of chillout lounge music and this video does not disappoint. It is not necessarily summer themed but it is a relatively new one that deserves a listen/watch.

There are 16 songs by an artist named, Jjos. The songs are accompanied by visuals of people and places. This video is great to put on your TV screen to chill, relax, think and just be.

11. The laundry room of my dreams

This is another one I didn’t know I needed. I am sure other people will think that too!

The detail in this laundry room scene is amazing. If this was mine, I think I would stay in it a lot. Also, the layer of sounds is perfect-right down to the detergent bottle opening.

12. A writer and book worm’s dream

Planning on doing some writing this summer and/or are you trying to get some good reading done? This one is for you!

It has a cool looking library from the 1930s and a great layer of sounds that you would hear in a library or in a room where someone is writing.

13. Back in the day ambience

Better times or just different times? I am not sure, but I love this anyways. Maybe you will too!

This video takes you back to long ago in the Edwardian era (which Google tells me went from 1901 to 1910). I don’t know if it is supposed to be a summer day but it sure is sunny outside of the window. The details of the scene are great-it really looks like something you would see during that time.

Check these out!

The 13 videos I showed you are just some of the many, MANY good ambience videos on YouTube. I am constantly finding new ones to watch and listen to as there is such an abundance of them.

If you like these ones, go check out some more. You could even create your own playlist of the ones that you really like!

Let me know if you liked the videos in this post and what other ambience videos you like. I am always up for suggestions!

10 Amazing Ambience Videos For Right Now-Spring Version

10 Amazing Ambience Videos For Right Now-Spring Version

I just love looking at this visual! There is a light at the end of the road in life now too.

A while back I did a post where I talked about ambience videos and showed you some great ones that were fitting for the season/what the world was going through. Since things have a changed a bit (it is spring and there is more hope for the world!), I decided to make this post showing more of these videos.

Make sure as you are going through the post to click on the videos and take a quick peek/listen!

First, I want to give you an explanation on the videos chosen

Even though I put this as the spring version, not all of the videos are spring season-related. That would mean that they would all be pretty much the same and I did not want that for you guys.

A few of them I chose just went along great with where we are at in the world. Some things people may feel they can still only dream about doing because of how seriously they take the virus and the restrictions that are put forth in their area. Some things people just do not have and/or are not going to see due to location.

These videos serve as a safe escape for anyone and everyone. They are all great for studying, reading, writing, cooking, doing art, cleaning, relaxing, sleeping and just being.

The 10 amazing ambience videos for right now

  1. ASMR Soundscape-Cozy Country Kitchen Soundscape by Dragonfly Mage

This is the spring/summer version of the channel’s Christmas kitchen video that I put on the other ambience video post. This video’s kitchen and chirping birds sounds make for a lovely auditory experience. The kitchen visual is also really charming. I love that bowl of oatmeal chillin’ on the table!

2. Realistic Kitchen Ambience ASMR by Cozy Corner of Ambience

This video boasts the best and most detailed kitchen sounds out of all the kitchen ambience videos. The rainy spring day outside of the windows only adds to the fun, relaxing sounds it has.

3. Spring Ambience with Cherry Blossoms by Autumn Cozy

This video has a wonderful fairy-tale like scene. That combined with simple spring sounds makes for a relaxing three hours.

4. Books and Coffee Shop Ambience by Candy Music Room

This is great for all you book and coffee lovers! Due to the virus, it may not be safe yet to spend time in book and coffee shops so this video may give you a similar vibe.

5. Airport Coffee Shop Ambience by Nature Cozy Music

There is just something about a coffee shop in an airport. I think so anyways. People have been traveling all through the pandemic but it is looking like it will actually be a bit safer in the near future.

This is the only airport ambience video on YouTube right now and it is perfect for people who miss traveling and are waiting for a better time to do so.

Light and upbeat, the music is sure to put one in a good mood.

6. Night Greenhouse Ambience by Autumn Cozy

Plant care can be so relaxing in real life. Putting those sounds in a video with a cool visual, was a great idea! It also has some other sounds like crickets and coffee being poured. Altogether it is a very relaxing video to put on!

7. Romantic Manhattan Restaurant Ambience by Immerse In Nature

In the other post about ambience videos, I put this channel’s other New York restaurant ambience video on it. This one is very similar.

Eating at restaurants right now is extremely risky in my opinion. If you think the same and miss going out to restaurants, try putting this on the TV! You and your partner can have a meal together-pretending that you are actually there.

8. Beautiful Relaxing Music by Soothing Relaxation

This is an absolutely gorgeous ambience video. The nature scenes, piano and sounds of birds chirping make this great for relaxation. It may also help you start the day off in a good mood, too.

9. Night Beach Camping Ambience by Candy Music Room

I just love the idea of this video and I know others will too upon seeing it. Many of us do not have access to nice beaches all the time so this may look like a fun escape to some.

The idea of being on a beach, being cozy, having a good book in hand, hot chocolate by my side and having some Bossa Nova music playing seems rather dream-like to me.

10. 2 Hours of Deluxe House Music by Relaxing Chill Music

This video has a wonderful still image. It really gives you a taste of what is to come- warmer, better days. The house music featured is mellow and can put you in a better mental space.

How I use these videos

I typically have on ambience videos at least once a day. It varies which time of day I put them on.

I like to play them when I am surfing the internet, reading, working on my novel and doing laundry. They are all very comforting to me and help me focus. My absolute favorite ones right now include chillout lounge music (specifically, a musician named Jjos).

I bet you might like these!

We all have different tastes when it comes to music and sounds but I feel like many people will enjoy these ambient videos. There are MANY different kinds of these videos so I recommend searching through YouTube to the best kind of ear and eye candy for you.

Let me know what you think of the videos I put on the list.

Thanks for reading and watching!

Another Way I Practice Self-Care

Another Way I Practice Self-Care

When I typed the other post on how I practice self-care I totally forgot to talk about my other passion in life-true crime! It may seem strange and maybe a little morbid that delving into crime cases makes me feel good but I just love reading about them.

Here is just a little bit more about how I practice self-care with true crime.

What I watch/listen to

I got into true crime back when I was about eight years old. The program that drew me in was America’s Most Wanted. Sometimes the episodes scared me but for the most part, I was hooked on it.

This has carried through my life as many of the shows I have watched have to do with crime in some type of way. They have been fictional and non-fictional.

Currently, I watch/listen to a few crime related shows/podcasts from time to time and they always entertain me (not that I like people getting hurt or anything). The following are the aforementioned shows/podcasts I view/listen to:

  1. Unresolved mysteries- The original and new one.
  2. Disappeared (ID channel)- This one is about people who have disappeared without much of a trace.
  3. Law and Order SVU-Going back through all of the episodes!
  4. LordanARTS YouTube channel- He covers cases involving the missing and murdered.
  5. Trace Evidence YouTube channel- He covers true crime cases. A lot of them are cases most people have not heard about.
  6. Criminally Listed YouTube channel- He covers mysterious crimes.
  7. Forensic Files Show- So many interesting cases! The study of forensics is so cool to me.

I also frequent true crime sites like r/unresolvedmysteries and Websleuths.

A lot of us true crime enthusiasts have what we call, “pet cases.” This is when we have cases that are more interesting to us than others which causes us to read about them a lot. My “pet cases” are as follows:

  1. Ashe Degree– A little girl who went missing in 2000.
  2. Andrew Gosden– Teenage boy that went to London one day in 2007 and has not been seen since.
  3. Mostly Harmless/Ben Bilemy– A hiker using a fake name is found dead in a tent.

Fun crime game

I happened to come across Unsolved Case Files games on Amazon. These games involve solving a fictional cold case murder. After looking at them and reading the reviews, I ended up buying two of them.

They are shown as being great as a party game but there is no reason why it can not be played by just one individual. I am totally fine with the idea of playing a game by myself (my husband does not like games very much).

Each game took me a few days to play because I would only devote about 30 minutes each time I went to play them. It may take other people longer or shorter.

I really enjoyed them and found it so much fun to figure out the cases. Being immersed in them was another form of escape from the horrors of the pandemic-just like the women’s fiction books I like to read.

The games come in a file with pictures, newspaper clippings, suspect statements, interviews and more. This makes for a like-real experience.

If you are interested in true crime and you are looking for a game to buy, I would highly recommend these Unsolved Case Files games. I plan on getting the other three cases that the company offers and I hope they make more!

Here is the Amazon store for Unsolved Case Files Games: https://www.amazon.com/stores/Unsolved+Case+Files/page/0A1DDDC4-D306-4B8A-AE05-F08BC8CBD4DD?ref_=ast_bln

Their official site: http://www.unsolvedcasefiles.com

Yes, it is a little weird

Us true crime lovers may be seen as odd by others but who cares? We like what we like!

True crime content provides something else for me to focus on (besides the pandemic) for even just an hour a day.

Are you interested in true crime and have a “pet case?” Let me know!

Thanks for reading!
